The god-demons in Teni's mind want another Aomi (not like the chimera aomi--that plan failed W__W) 

Normal Aomi = white skinned/black stripes-ear & tail tips/black hair and teal bangs/cyan eyes (color of inside the ears stay the same- peach/light peach)

Invert Aomi= black skinned/white stripes-ear & tail tips/white hair and red bangs/red eyes (color of inside the ears stay the same- peach/light peach)

Normal + Invert = ????? i must think of what..this aomi would look like, either a mix & match? combination?

the colors to work with: white, black, grey, peach, red, cyan, purple, green, yellow, blue

some computer screens/TVs/printers make Aomi's eyes & bangs out as either GREEN or BLUE and not blue-green/cyan-like.

the purple comes in because of female Aomi's lips, they are purple and her eyeshadow is purple-reddish/pink inverting them
makes them green. ALSO: because invert and normal... their orb balls i wanted them to combine to make purple or something like that
but since cyan and red only make some brown/grey colour i had to opt for the BLUE of Aomi 

invert purple=green
invert red=cyan
invert yellow=blue

red+blue= purple etc
black+white= grey
red+cyan= some grey/brown thing

so what would normal aomi + invert aomi = ??

I got inspired to make this after playing Legacy of Kain: Defiance (of course the other games too) and just checking Vorador's mansion out I came across the murals in the fountain room and the mural in the center had an Ancient vampire in a pink outfit with what seemed like PINK hair.  Of course I could be wrong... but... still, compared with the other two vampires... it was pink hair, not a silly hat.

There was a joke that she'd start off as a blonde then get gore covered way too many times so that no matter how many times she'd rinse her hair off it would contain redness and fade. lol blood stain hair dye >_>

sadly, this is the.. 3rd Vampire Aomi concept I was strumming through, I mean yeah this piece is using my Silent Hill Aomi's template. I don't know any backstory about this vampire yet.

I will point out however these things: Aomi's got two different blood colours.
One red, the other is teal. Such an occurance would probably happen because of the failure to die properly, dead and aware in a sense. Red is of the living half, the teal is the somewhat-dead half.  As that saying goes: As long as you bleed you'll be fine.

So she's like a vampire-dead-but living kind of thing. FAIR ENOUGH TO JUST DUB HER A DEMON.

She is not in a state of decay or withering away, her body has just reached a point where it can not heal the wounds that were inflicted(they stay fresh forever-hence her only attire being bandages- at the moment) during the hibernation (the point where vampires start evolving- to sport the talons and taloned feet and other...things), such as chest wound and bite marks and scratches.

New wounds heal of course. Safe to say she had been mauled/killed during her sleep, whether other vampires or humans did the deed, I do not know. lol I know certain vampires would kill any affront to the species.. so..haha.

Aomi's three stripes had dwindled down to one stripe and semi-stripes forming near her right eye. The demon essence was probably trying to move itself so where it would be safer or start repairs.

This vampire Aomi would only need to feed if she's seriously injured or extremely worn out from magic-use. She can feed on blood but prefers energy, like fear or excitement so of course she doesn't kill her prey. Her fangs are very thin and dainty,blackish- from non-use and almost needle like

The black-grey gauntlet on her left forearm is her weapon, it aids in sorcery as an amplifier and as a filter (as not to kill herself in the process of using magic) it is also an anchor, the one on her right leg  behaves the same way. And by anchor: this gear prevents her from "floating off" her soul has corrupted the matter in her body so SOMETIMES she could...
easily just hover about like a phantom but she prefers not to, she finds it "unnatural" to float about like a ghost.

These anchors make good pummeling weapons.

And in attempt to stay true to the Shekintari Aomi, I left her right eye wounded. Of course not all Aomi forums will be beaten up creations, the closer to fey type things Aomi gets, Aomi gets more careful, haughty and princess-brat like.

Aomi is a demon hell bent on learning things, so she has to take on different forms, abilities of those forms & the whole who what when where why how of them so she can travel many realms, worlds, and time.
The vast majority of these forms/stories  won't have anything to do with the "Main" story.

Aomi Armster is the name of a character I had made back in 1997 and brought Aomi Armster onto the internet around 2004 and frankly,
I made the name UP. Because.. honestly.. if it was a commonly used name..it would've sprung up or something before I took the measure to
register AomiArmster all over the place as much as I could.

What happened the first time you were left home alone as a child?

When I was left home alone as a child for the first time, nothing really happened, I basically sat down
and watched T.V.

On April 17th 2007-- I had posted the original Aomi Doll. ( http://aomiarmster.livejournal.com/9296.html )
and now this is about the NEW Aomi Doll made back in July 21st 2007, lol.

So yes, this is a 9 inch doll--but counting the ears, its a nice 10inch.
The base is an Obitsu, the ears & tail were made out of a TOWEL O_O not a sock! ( i rerooting aomi's hair) like actually stabbed in EACH STRAND. Aomi's hair is the same yarn I used to make the old doll's hair, and yes, the new doll doesn't have pupils.( so yes, sometimes there are pupils and sometimes there are not) It is almost an unknown thing, Aomi is really BLIND ( there is a reason for his/her huge ears) and Aomi's hair ( though it is usually seen drawn straight/curlyish) Aomi actually has 'dreds' like his mother, Aoxi.

So yeah, it is the NEW Aomi doll, flashing a boobie, a dainty booby & a soft perky pink nipple. (whoa that felt weird to describe) I don't know what drove me to take a picture of the doll this way... -__-;

ANYHOOO.
This is an obitsu 23cm doll thinger with a paint on face thingie
she was a 'white' toned doll but when i began painting, well duh, Aomi Armster has WHITE skin, so it made the base doll's skin look like a TAN. -_-; My only worry is that the paint would chip off--I've never worked with the kind of plastic that the obitsu doll is made of.

AND THIS DOLL WAS A HIDEOUS BITCH TO WORK WITH
painting things white is a pain in the ass
and it doesn't help that the doll is fragile in this state
oh well...
and because of this doll's fragile-state, when Aomi Doll is not in use
she/he will hybernate in a shoebox (until i can get a bloody doll case!!!)

This Aomi doll is wearing my barbie's pajama's coz at the moment I can't make Aomi's outfits, I'm too frazzled by the experience of being "god" for 5 days & 1 week.

everything was made from scratch other than the doll base itself but..everything else was out of my own doing.

Both Aomi Dolls' eyes glow in the dark. I'm proud of this thing..both of them, as i said , it is a dream of mine to have a 3D aomi, be it a physical one or a graphic aomi.

I'm looking for some doll cases... the other one I originally had .. apparently is too small for this doll --i forgot to take in account of Aomi's ears o_o; that has added to the height of the doll! *WAILS*

So yeah, all the Aomi Armster trademarks are here, cyan eyes, turqoise bangs, black hair, white ears that are black tipped just like the tail, three black stripes on hips, etc oh and SUPPOSEDLY NAKED.

As far as what outfits I want to make for this new doll, it is up to debate, obviously i'm going for the red theme as usual, maybe a kimono of some sort, long knee-high red socks, the works. But, we'll see

FINALLY! AFTER MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS OF PLANNING.
Yes, it has always been one of my dreams to have some sort of 3D Aomi Armster.
There are those of you- that remember when I began this plan to originally make an
Aomipu plushie- but I couldn't finish that project (either it was from laziness or other things). So Aomipu plushie was canceled- but I still held onto a 3D Aomi dream.

Before I get down to the Aomi Doll's deetails, lemme tell you a bit of the background on this project. The base of this doll is 10 years old (nearly the same age as Aomi itself O_O) - given to me by a friend longgg ago- from Iceland. (THANK YOU SASHA!!!) So it was only last year when I planned to make an Aomipu plushie- I started with a sock then dropped that idea, then I decided to use the base of the Icelandic doll to instead make an Aomi!- so I began painting it white- then I realized to my horror that this doll would be HARD ( and it is, almost like lead- and i have tossed the painted doll- shattering everything in its path) that made me delay the project AGAIN, I wanted a soft huggable doll, I just didn't have the resources or knowledge of how to make one properly.

Then came the weeks and weeks of wanting-pleading-thinking-LOTS OF ANGST and many woes. Then came months and months, where I pondered whether I should plead with the developers on IMVU to help me make a 3D Aomi ( i am still debating on this) then thought against it, so up until recently while browsing about on 4chan, I noticed something called papercraft. OMG- SUCCESS! I thought-----WRONG WRONG WRONG, why yes the basis of the crafts are easy, as are teh concepts, 3D origami/paper sculptures, I thought I could make a 3D Aomi, FINNAALLLLY!! Alas, no, I could not, again, I didn't have the proper equipment.

I sat down and began blueprinting, what i wanted to make, what i had, what i needed, when that was over, I realized that I only needed a few things, thankfully everyone else noticed my angst and they helped me out- then began excited and began asking 'IS IT DONE IT? WHERE IS THE AOMI DOLL?' so it became a family-friends project everyone in it, everyone wanting results which was a big motivator for me.

Cyan, Turqoise, light-peach, black and white paints, easy right? NO.
I was at a huge art store and the colors I needed were somehow OBSCURE ( like everything else in my life!) Eventually- I got what I needed, came home and began the cruel 'god work'. Rememer how I said that the doll-base turned into some lead statue? Well because of that I had to HACK UP THE DOLL but it proved to be in my benefit as I saw I could make the Aomi doll very flexible!

I pulled out the doll's guts and skeleton and inserted random cotton balls, fishing wire (as the skeleton) finally, the doll was ready to be AOMI-FIED. With my black yarn ball and I made the hair, with the white yarn ball I painted strands into turqoise for Aomi Doll's bangs. Aomi's ears were made from pieces of the Aomipu sock ( i am not pleased with the ears, they are very 2-D and I was going for 3D, oh well- I will fix them eventually by adding in 2 small triangles to fullfill the triangle ears)
The tip of Aomi's tail was made from some feather scarf thing.

In 5 days Aomi doll was complete and on the 5th day I began painting in the details, stripes, nipples (lol), bellybutton and then Aomi's face. Aomi has a signature glance to the sides so I went with that- to add a bit of charm to the silly thing, Aomi Doll's eyes glow in the dark!

There are so many what-ifs, madness, laziness, drama, angst, love, hate and sadness that went along with this project, my entire family and friends know of Aomi and there were days where i felt I knew nothing of Aomi, I'm gaining some absurd sense of detachment, well, I was feeling that until I finally held the doll, I fell in love all over again.

Back in October of 1996-7 I made Aomi Armster to spite another made up character named Vanessa and I thought nothing of it back then,it was all just fun and imaginations but I had a friend that pushed me to develop Aomi more ( why? I dont know) I didn't know how to develop characters in any shape or form back then, so my friend told me to use traits of good and bad that I saw in people-- I did. I took what I loved-admired and hated from my friends and family and put them into Aomi. I can't really tell what traits of my own I had put into Aomi, think what I got in Aomi is the image, there is a way I want to look and I think i show it in the way I draw Aomi.

And why the fox/white tiger? Well, blame Xaphan, he has the qualities of a fox, I do not know where I got the white tiger thing, I guess its because I like opposites, got a canine thing going with a feline personality, I don't know.
That is what the doll is like too, opposite-ish. One can bend and stretch it but like with most things bend or stretch too far it breaks, the doll is hard but its squishy, rough and smoothe. Honestly, prototype Aomi was not white or had anything to do with cyans or blues or red shorts or had anything kitty like to it. Look at the picture below, my hideous art-designs YES, THIS IS THE PROTOTYPE AOMI.

but that didn't last very long, Sia and Xaphan made me change the design into the Aomi everyone sees today.

I think stuck with Aomi as a coping thing, a way to take from others yet not taking at all. It is all weird, philosophical mumbo-jumbo, I guess.
